How Much Am I Worth?

I am trying to figure out what my business is worth. This includes My real name Melissa Harrington which if you web search comes up thousands of times from my public nudity stuff last year. I also own my domians which are: melissalincoln.com, lincolnmelissa.com, hotmelissa.com, hotmelissa.net, melissamidwest.com, melissamidwest.net, midwestmelissa.com, midwestmelissa.net just to name a few. I would say I get about 300,000 hits a day combined from them. Also all my picture's and video's basicly my company as a whole. I am building a new home and the bank wants to know what my business is worth and I have no idea what to tell them. Any info would help a ton! Thanks, Melissa

I hate to say it, but they may not see the domain names as a valueable item. They sometimes do not realize what something like that can be worth. So be careful putting together the numbers that you need.

Take your monthly income and multiply by 3, that's roughly what you'd get for your holdings in the open market.

Saw you at Internext btw, you're one hot baby!

6 months net income. Thjey bank really does not care as they loan on income not assets. So this is more then conservative and realistic.

multiply what your gross income is for the year by 1.6 (low) and times 3 (high) for adult internet.

Maybe for a bank valuation you could make that number stand.

What do you go?

It really depends on what you are selling on what it is worth. Some stuff there is no way its worth 3 years. My program I wouldnt even consider selling for 3 years Net.

But she is trying to finance a house so she wants it to look as good as possible so I say go for 3 years

Well, what you got to sell?

3 months is ridiculous though.. I dont know anybody that would sell their business for 3 months worth of profits...

I am sure you are right but I have very good credit and some money in the bank. They are going to approve me it's more of an issue of what rate I will qualify for. Not exactly sure why but are wanting to know how much my business is worth and how I came up with the number.

The best answer I can give is 2.5 times yearly earnings is probably what you would get if you gave someone enough content updates to run the sites until they died.

If it were more consolodated that would be better too me thinks.

Wanna kick me some traffic for being a helluva guy ;) ?

on 1.5 yrs darkcavern.com money alone I could retire if I didn't have to pay my overhead. It may not be Silvercash money but I could get by on the interest without touching the principle. Add in Fetishbucks.com etc and you're talking about one whopping shitload of money.

I wouldn't sign a non-compete though ;)

Oh really? How many single sites have you run?

A good single site grows each year. Her's is one that can and will.

Keep the way you are going Mel and you will double your income next year. I applaud you. You turned a bad into a good and profited by it. Never seen it done before and I doubt I ever see it again.

Good for you!

Yea I don't do too bad but I don't leave the house unless it's work related (sad). I work about 90 hours a week between content, promotions, e-mails, message board and cam shows. It is not an easy job at all and many times I have thought about going with a big company. Make sure the girl is ready to work! Melissa

yes a few magazines a year for $50k. sorry hun - magazines pay very modestly, in fact unless u make the cover of a very small handful of magazines you get paid $500-750 day like every other model, even a Penthouse Pet of the Month only made $5000, and that's dropped.

... I think she loves to add an extra ZERO to her number, if she'd make all that money she wouldn't need a home loan, she'll simply pay cash, just like I did.

... besides, I'd hit it !!!

I am sorry but you must have some bad info. I made over $30,000 from Gallery Magazine for winning the Girl Next Door of the Year alone. I also do ads for magazines and clothing companies. I would say $50k was just what I am claiming because I have to for tax reasons. Melissa

I would pay cash but I invest a lot of my money for retirement. I understand my looks will run out before too long. I am putting about half down on the house. All I wanted to know was how much my business was worth because the bank asked and I had no idea what to tell them. I didn't need a lesson in how much you think magazines pay or don't pay but thanks. The only reason I put that in the post was because people said that was the only way for them to tell me. Melissa

ok, that's different - u won a prize from Gallery. that's a once in a career thing, like being Pet of the Year or Playmate of the Year. nice tho! congrats.

no offense taken Melissa, i was being a bit of an ass myself : )

if you're doing your site on your own i have nuthin but respect for you and that you know the shelf life of being a hot girl isn't all that long is pretty cool too - not many girls realize it.
