Little advice needed. Laptop--> XGA TFT or
My father is looking for a good for not extreme laptop.
He was looking at dell, and the monitor on this notebook is 15-inch XGA-(1024 x 768) All other brands advertise as 15 inch TFT What is the difference(if any) Andre

TFT is the type of screen, while XGA denotes the resolution. I would suggest a SXGA resolution on a 15 inch notebook, you can see more. But don't pin me down on what SXGA res is... I think 1280x980 or something along those lines.

tell him to get a 15.4" . I have one and it's badass, not only to watch dvds but also for design, I have more space...
