My first ride in a Hummer and we get it hung up (PIC)

So i was pumped this weekend. My buddy Chris has a hummer and took me and Rinaldo from Platinum bucks out and he wanted to take me for a cruise.

So Rinaldo pipes up even before we get out of the parking lot "hey dont back up this is a fucking hummer jump the snow bank its just snow whats the worst that can happen"

Chris is yah man so without any momentum he hit the gas and BOOM were stuck. MY first ride ina hummer and we get stuck I was so dissapointed.

Check out the plate on this bad boy!

Maybe it was just bad luck.

Hummers get stuck in a snow? That's not tough at all, I thought they would be tougher then that.

Well to understnad why we got stuck you have to understand taht that is solid ICE... not fucking snow... we thought it was snow... hence the "go for it we'll make it" but no it was solid fucking ice cleverly pretending to be snow... we got hung up on the frame hitting the ice and lifting the rear tires off the ground... and since 8k pounds with 5 of us in it and only 2 tires touching the ground on snow... it couldn't move us since we were just spinning out.... what a fucking adventure

This is pure driver error, nothing to do with the type of vehicle. Anything that didnt have 20 Inches or more of ground clearance here would have gotten stuck to going so slow.

HUMMERS ARE THE SHIT...you can obviously see that the snow bank is frozen solid. Anything that gets framed up on a block of ice like that will be "stuck"

Yes thats true. But you cant convince the general GFY idiots of this, because they have no real world experience and they still know everything.

you know, you can have the best fucking vehicle in the world, if you cant drive, then your car will NOT drive for you.

For instance,

I was driving a 98' CHEVY MALIBU in a blizzard.... a few years back/ i stupidly take a route that has a huuuuuge hill, and i had to go UP it. Theres 2 cars ahead of me , we are waiting at a red light, as we watch this late model mercedes towards the top of the hill spinning the fuck out, slowly sliding off the road into a ditch. It looked so funny, watching this car with all the bells and whistles my car doesNT have like LSD and TT, etc, and god knows what else, to help you stay on the road...... Light goes green, and the two people in front of me aint moving, they are watching this mercedes spin the fuck out. Then i notice this late model 7 series BMW behind me decides he cant wait, hes gonna take the hill, hes the man, watch out, he coming through with his beemer. As soon as he got near the mercedes, he started spinning out and was trying like hell not to slam into the mercedes.

So the guy in front of me ( it was an 80's something Ford) decides to try and take the hill now that the bmw and mercedse have spun off the road and are stuck on the side. Im like 'yea, fuck it, why not?', and i follow him (not too close). I used to drive a worked up 87 firebird a lot in the snow, so i have experience with controlling shitty cars (rear wheel drive mind you) in shitty conditions. Me and this guy took the same exact path the bmw and mercedes took, and we drove right past them like it was nothing.

Exactly. Anything that bottoms out totally out is going to get stuck. Doesn't matter what it is, unless it has tank treads.
