WTF has AOL done to ICQ ???
Although I must admit that ICQ 2001b is the best update ICQ has come out with in some time, I am very upset that they removed the ICQ reminder feature, as well as the Active Lists and the notes (to-do lists)
![]() Does anybody else share my sentiments? I think the notes and reminders especially were VERY useful features that I used very much ... does anybody know of a desktop application that has similar features (will remind you of events that you input on the date/time specified) ??? ------------------ Airforce come and dey flatten your home !!! They've removed the reminder function? The ads were bad enough (I got rid of them by editing the resource entries, before I found programs that do it for you), but I use the reminder function an insane amount.
I could just install Outlook and use that, but I don't like Ouhouse very much, and it would be overkill just for reminders... I guess I'll just refrain from upgrading. ------------------ ClickCash - Better than 1:99 and $50 for signing up Lightspeed Cash - Converts like crazy |

I just discovered that reminder/note function about 3 weeks ago, although I'm using ICQ already for about 5 years. After installing XP I also updated ICQ and noted as well that they did remove it ;-(

The 2do list is nice -- but there wasn't an easy way to organize your 2do list -- you have to go through the list in order... anyway it's a useful feature that is lame and can be annoying ;)
I'm all in favor of removing useless features -- ICQ used to be a nice tight little application -- it was so tiny -- now it's getting to be an annoying mammoth. Anyway I guess I should figure out how to remove the ads ;) if anyone has URL's of ICQ ad removers that would save me some time ;) ------------------ <A HREF="http://www.thefly.net/topfly.html" TARGET=_blank> </A>Oh Baby! I have not tried it on 2001b yet, but I don't see why it should not work ... it runs on the same DLLs as 2000b If you try it with 2001b, message me and let me know if it works, Pete ------------------ Airforce come and dey flatten your home !!!
