Well the hun says only submit once every 4 days so the MOST you could get listed is 91 times a year. And that's IF he listed every gallery you submitted. Don't do TGP but about 2 months ago I made a gallery and submitted to the hun just to see if I could get listed and how I would do. Yeah got listed, after a month, and it was on the Overflow page. Got a whole 60 hits to my sponsor. Fuck that shit. I can get 60 sponsor hits from a gallery just by posting it HERE.

Interesting thread....I used to do a lot of galleries and made pretty decent money with it. Just within the last couple weeks I decided to start them up again because it was always nice to see checks coming in the mail.

I too wish I would have kept in the game, it does seem to be hard to jump back in. You are aware that our business changes, but don't realize how much until you try to pick something up where you left off a couple years ago.

I feel your pain...I've fired off a few emails and hope people even remember who I am since so many people come and go in this biz. I've been plugging away for about 7 years and would probably been alot better off if I hadn't been sidetracked by several projects in the last few years that just didn't work out.

Sometimes I wish I could go back and just focus on my own stuff. I see people I used to have ICQ relationships with several years ago that have done very well. I guess it just goes to show that if you find something that works, stick to it and it will grow.

Now I'm babbling again...enough of that.

Speaking of the past...anyone here remember dealing with a shithead that went by the name "skittles"?

My p/t job as a sandwich artist at Subway is how I can afford to goto Vegas, but I bank about $500 a month from galleries

I have only been in the bizz for about 2 years, and in that time have mostly been in the submission aspect. In that time ive noticed a big change. Gone are the days of submission spaming to a ton of sites and great traffic. You have to be smart now. Its not how much you submit but rather what you sub and where you sub to. The old saying "you have to spend money to make money" really comes into play now. Free submissions and partner accounts arnt dead by anymeans, but to geet the traffic and the sales takes alot more thought these days.
