Compress multiple image sets

Which software do you use to compress multiple images (whole sets)
I just bought tons of picture sets but the pics are around 700 kb each, its just to much! Have to compress them fast and easy...can you recommend me any software?

I use the batch tool of Macromedia Fireworks. "Add" all your pics easily, then simply "Export" as "JPeg Better Quality". It will reduce the sized DRASTICALLY but still keep the quality. Don't forget to backup the big ones though incase you need them later.

Thanks for the info!!
Just one question:
Can this be done with "Macromedia Studio MX 2004" ?
(Why I asking this is because I have Studio MX on CD but not installed, will install it only if it can do this for me)

Ok Im in Fireworks now, but how do I "Add" a set of 120 pics?
The only option I see is "open" and when I try to open 120 pics I get Error message because I don't have enough with memory.
But even if I had enough with memory it would not be easy to export all 120 pics one by one.

So can you tell me how shod i do?
