I wasn't let go- I quit. They had dozens of partners serving their ads, sort of an aggregator I would call it.

Once in, it was my job to use the analysis tools (that I built) to find out how to make the campaigns perform the best. So if it was a CPC campaign it was my job to make those ads click the most while maintaining a satisfactory ROI for the client. Now note, we had about 5 ads on average per page- but we counted each as an impression. So I didn't handle half a billion UNIQUE hits, I handled 1/2 billion raw banner hits. |
