When your're 7 years old and hungry, even caned Russian "no se" (unknown) meat taste great. Frog legs were passed as chicken to us many a day, while my parents ate the latter. It's all in perspective.

er, I live in Louisiana and thats one thing I have yet to never try and NEVER plan on eating.

I have friends that go out and 'gig' them though. theyre weird rednecks.

gigging is illegal. Actually you ride around in a boat with a spotlight looking for them and getting fucking hammered. When you see one you run up on it while keeping the light on it so it won't run and someone grabs it. We caught about 25 of them last time we went and had a nice fish & frog fry. Good stuff.
