I red some documents from my college course in xhtml and it says that IE doesn't.. however I don't know how fucking old the documents are.. and I can't believe it wouldn't support it, according to the docs mozilla does support but ie doesn't.
can anyone verify which is true?

The problem with MIME types for Web pages is that most of today?s browsers do not support application/xhtml+xml. Among these ?old-fashioned? browsers is the popular Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows.
