the 90's = oldies??

wtf a " trendy " station in town here that plays top 40 type of stuff changed its format to " oldies " it is all shit fromt he early 90's to late 90's
wtf im only 20 and its the shit i grew up listenin to
the 90's is oldys now???!?!
even vh1 is " lookin back at the 90's"

I consider oldies to be Elvis, Buddy Holly, etc.

Beatles, Lennon, Zeppelin, Doors etc - are all modern to me. So, by that measure, I'd say 90's music is practically prenatal. Definitely not "oldies".

yup most "hip hop" and "r&b" is starting to sound the same. Time to bring back the good rock stuff. OLP, Pearl Jam ect.
