laptop problem
I have a 2 month old Sony Viao laptop that is giving me problems. I didnt drop it or anything, but out of nowhere it just stopped turning on. Sometimes if I press down on the keyboard it will turn on, but it will freeze at the first boot screen. I had this happen on another laptop before, and when I took it to get it repaired they didnt know what was wrong with it. Does anyone know what could causing this?

My 308lb auntie had the same problem. The cause? She sat on it with her gigantic ass when she left it in bed on one cold winter night.

If sometimes it turns on and sometimes not, it may be a loose connection or something.
Best thing is to take your laptop to a Sony service center. |

That has happened to my laptop twice......I changed the bios to boot from CD and ran quick restore from my Windows 2000 disc and it fixed the problem. One repair guy I talked to blamed it on a hardrive knocked loose and my husband said it was the SP2 windows update causing problems. It also seemed that it happened after a power outage which caused a force kill. Hope this helps.....
