I would like to refer Boneprone back to http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/...ML/011887.html

and I quote...

Quote:

Tonight, (Live on FOX as you read this) the Yankees will win yet another Championship against a very good team.

The story book ending for a great team and a great career pitcher in Roger Clemens.

And Thats the Bottom Line cause Boneprone said so!

Gotta love seeing Randy Johnson, Curt Schilling, Mark Grace, Mike Morgan, and Matt Williams finally win one.

True class act vets that have busted thier butts for baseball finally pull it off.

I wonder what Byung Hyun Kim will do with his ring? I watched Mr. Kim pitch at least 50 times this regular season. He is not a good closer. He's the type of guy that makes you nervous when they announce him into the game. All too often he struggles with his control.

Who said you can't win a World Series with only two dominant starters? Who said Mariano Rivera is unhittable?

The D'Backs rule!

Excuse me, but wasn't it just American teams that played each other ? I know it's called the World Series, but IMHO it does not deserve to be called that way.

Yeah those were cool bikes... Those were the days... I only had a used Schwin BMX -- my parents didn't have much money then.

What a game!

We went to 6 and 7 -- last nites game was the most incredible baseball game I've ever seen.

A comeback win in Game 7, 9th inning... just unreal!!!!!!

And of course we won so it was that much better even!

You really think it was a better ending than the 86 mets??

Or the Kirk Gibson LA Dodger win for the championship against the A's in 88?? The A's were a talent machine much like the Yankees, and Eckersley was a force.

Or how bout the BlueJays last inning win off Joe Carter's Home Run to win the championship?

Sure it was a great ending, but being only 1 run behind in the 9th isnt the greatest!

Boneprone,

I saw Byung Hung Kim pitch 50+ times on MLB Extra Innings on DirecTV. I get every sports package they offer. NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAFB, NCAABB.
