Need good price on airfare

I am looking for a good deal on airfare from PDX to LAS Nov 10th through 16th. I want to leave in the morning and return in the evening.

I have checked all the airlines directly as well as hotwire, cheaptickets, bestfares, and orbits. Nothing special grabs my attention. Looking for non-stop flights too.

Any suggestions? I usually get this on Alaska for under $200 sometimes even under $110.

Thanks. I will check it out.
Southwest always has specials but I do not like feeling like I am flying on a cattle car.

I flew them ONCE. It happend to be to Vegas and it sucked. Single worst airline experience ever. There planes look like cardboard boxes held together by red duct tape and that alone makes me nervous. They have never heard of reserved seating either.

No joke. I was actually frightened during the entire flight, there and back.

At least when they pack sardines, there is something to keep them from sticking together. Perhaps Southwest could spray people with some non-stick stuff befor they cram you into the seats that look and feel like they were taken off of a short yellow bus in trollville.

Will you be in Vegas for AdultDex? Let me know how your flight goes.

Southwest Airlines has THE best safety record of any airline in this nation. They never fly in questionable weather. I would fly with them over anyone else, any damned day.

IA2000 - Boy, am I ever looking forward to the trip now!

Well, just have to hope Southwest has lots and lots of duct tape. And that I have lots of baby oil with me

Oh - thank you, titmowse. That's good to hear. Everyone has different experiences with airlines, I guess.

LOL, If they never fly in questionable weather then they never fly out of PDX anyway. I have no issue with their safty record, I am sure it is all in my head. I just find them uncomfortable. I guess I am spoiled. I usually upgrade to first class and Southwest does not offer this service.

I really do appreciate the suggestion. I will not lie, I did check their cost before I posted the original message. They are the cheapest but cheap does not always = good deal.

well, i guess i'm just cheap. i can't justify paying a buttload more money for cloth napkins and two more inches of footroom.

it's still an airplane and it's still uncomfortable and no hot washcloth will change that. but that's just me.

hell, i'm taking the bus to vegas anyways. i can go round trip for $98.00!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's how cheap i am

Hey, I may like to fly first class but I can not see spendinfg a butt load of cash on a hotel room. I only need to sleep and shower there. Give me a cot and a shower and I am good to go. I just secured a furnished 1 bedroom apartment 2 blocks off the strip for 169.50 a week for the week of internext and AdultDex. I can party in the hospitality suites and crash at my new pad for a hell of a lot less than 300 bones a night.
