You have to remember that facts and reality have no place on GFY. Also the amount of people able to read and understand most posts in a thread (even short threads) is minimal. :winkwink:

If he wanted to help he should have donated whatever he had and get the hell out of there. Not mentioning the fact that the countries affected by the tsunami face food and starvation problems......\

duh...

Not too bright are you?

Now thats the truth. Dont believe everything you see ... especially if you dont know the context.

Do you think there's a booth where people can and get money that has been donated from all around the globe?
Donated money go to organizations that help rebuilding the country, medicare, infrastructure, emergency food and all that. A regular Joe that lived of tourism will not get a penny of it.

they're helping these countries. I bet these countries would want thousands more tourists to come...

besides, tourists have a reason to come because prices must have dropped after the tsunami...

Love the candy assed knee jerk reactions. In the wake of a disaster like this, the tourism industry turns to shit. The tourism industry feeds many people, and while these people aren't exactly going to be making up for everyone else who has since cancelled their trip, whatever they're spending is going to help sustain whichever hotel they are staying at, bar they're drinking at, and shops they buy at.

And who are you to say that these people haven't helped? Do you have to help 18 hours a day? Couldn't one help, and then relax for a while?
