Netbilling vs. CCBill for Scrubbing

IBill allows about 10-15% more transactions through than CCBill.

How does Netbilling compare to CCBill in these regards? Does Netbilling let more through than CCBill, and if so what's the % around?

Thanks for any info.

Matt

when you are using your own merchant account like via netbilling, you can adjust the scrub yourself in the gateway.

Ahh. Neat. What are the variables you can control?

There are tons of different variables that you control such as which level of AVS, CVV2, fre email blocks, proxies and alot more. Call them for a demo.

you can control everything.
But remember, the looser your controls the higher your chargeback rate.

I have loose controls, but I check every signup to make sure that the info (address, name, state, IP address) looks right. If I see 123 main street, its automatically refunded, if a email receipt bounces, its refunded, anything that does not look right I disable the password and email the the customer, no response in an hour and its refunded. This way I have gotten my chargebacks down to 1 or 2 a month, for like 3 months in a row I had zero chargebacks!!!

Its allot of work but its cheaper then the 25$ fine you get hit with PER chargeback.,
back in 2000 I was getting 40-45 chargebacks a day ...

Most of them I dont catch untill midnight when I go through my events log for the days billings, but its ok, as long as you catch it before the chargeback comes through your good.

a couple of months ago I had 3-4 webmasters trying to run a scam, I noticed that I had allot of people calling the call center claiming fraud and they wanted refunds, so after several days of this I started looking up the affiliate owner and found they all belong to a few affiliates, running TGP's. Since EVERY one they had was comming back as a chargeback or a refund, I just went through their accounts and refunded EVERYONE who joined under those guys. Thats an advantage of having total control over your signups and writing the affiliates checks yourself. I stopped allot of chargebacks and those webmasters did not get paid, if I had been using ccbill or something they would have got paid and I would not have had control over stopping the checks, nor would I have known that they were even calling the call center and what they was claiming.

BTW - our sales conversions are at least 20% higher than with any 3rd party processor we used in the past.

Wow! I've only had 3 chargebacks since 1999 (yes, I've had more than 3 sales).

Regardless of processor scrubbing, each of my signups is human reviewed for 'red flags' - this has worked well so far and is cost justified.
