I always knew I would be successful. I told people in college at 19, I would be a millionaire by 25. Well I beat that by a couple of years. 50% of success is believing you can be successful.

I always wondered what happened to Paul Bakir from Adultcheck, does he still own it?

Great story, I have no idea what happend to him. Congrats on your success as well.

Mainstream stuff is tough, we have it easy in this biz. The mainstreamers can call us what they want but we know what works.

Congrats, 7 years is a long time too.

If I sold out or stopped working when everyone was telling me this stuff was coming to an end, I would have regreted it big time. You have to be in this biz for the long haul. Just fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride.

Everyday is a Glory day if you are having fun at it.

Granted...for now, you're far more successful than me or most of the people here but when it comes to folks to Dave or some of these other glendale folks...yer tubby tribal ass is absolutely irrelevant.

Congrats, you started at a great age. I believe in that same saying and I tell everyone that all the time. Get rid of negativity and just thing positive.

That is a hell of a lot of time. Congrats man, takes a lot of hard work to still be in the biz after 9 years. Wish you MANY more great years Dave.

I always think positive. The fun part is when your OWN family members (siblings, cousins, uncles, parents) put me down. I am just going to enjoy paying their car insurance bill and not even feel it.

hehe...Yup, I have an uncle that kept saying we were losers because we never went to school. I always told him you don't have to go to school that between my brother and I we will come up with something. He use to talk highly about my friends that they make 30 grand a year.

He hasn't said a word in years, he put his foot so far down his mouth. But I guess he was just looking out for us.

Amazing guys, congrats. I am at 5 and a half years, and while at times it feels like it's gone by fast. In other respects (especially thinking of how many people/companies have come and gone) it seems like an eternity.

I didn't think about it that way, you are right. I have seen people invest millons and when they don't do good in one year, they are out. Shit, I went on for over 2 years without making a profit but never gave up.

5 years is a long time too. You'll see. Soon you will be mentioning that its been 10 years. lol

SplitInfinity 01-12-2005 11:59 PM

Nice to realize that, isn't it?

I have been at it over 10 years now. Since March'ish 1994. :-)

We should all throw a decaders party or something sometime. Keepin it oldskool. Who knows, maybe pull out some giffy girl printouts in ascii art. LOL

The award we got meant so much to me because of how long we have been here. It made me realize just how far the industry has come... they have awards for this now? I was trippin when it dawned on me that I never thought I would be in porn or where I am today.

Congrats to all!

Are you OLDSchool? Add me to you AIM/ICQ... Lets catch up.
