I remember making my first money thinking how this was never going to last. All the time people are saying its going to end and yet it keeps going.

First of all I would have never imagined to end up in the "porn biz" more less make a career out of it.

I know how ya feel Dave.. May 12th will be the big 10 since I opened my 1st paysite, taking credit card orders and processing them by hand..

That is so funny, but I believe it. We usually pay it and deduct it from our Programmers fuck ups but he probably didn't have it. As a matter fact, I know he didn't have it so that's why you didn't get paid.
But we have sent out hundreds of thousands of dollars from fuckups only because we had to.

Starting my 7th year, we were just here the other day talking about the changes that have happened over the years and how we got into this and how many sponsors have come and gone ... amazing business this is. I would never be able to go back to a manistream job now, got to stop taking this job for granted :)

I moved alot of my first avs sites over to you guys when you first started as agecheck :) I was with Adultcheck back in 1996. Eventually I started my own AVS in 1999, the rest as they say is history :) It is really amazing how much time has flown by.

I always wondered what happened to Paul Bakir from Adultcheck, does he still own it?

I've just clocked up 4 years. When I first started everybody was saying that the glory days were over, however, I've pulled a very comfortable income since the day that I started. The industry has changed but I think it's still possible to start today and make good coin. :2 cents:
