Use the online scanner at www.symantec.com and follow their directions as to which repair files to download and use etc. It takes awhile to run but is the best method to fix your problems.

fuck it. your computer will never run smooth again. You need to reformat everything.. Put in the system disk and start over.

Sucks To Be You!!
j/k actually bone is right if they have been siting there for a whiule they have probably did enough config dammage for your computer to be fubared.. i would make a back-up of essential files onto cd's. then reistall windows a low level format would also be very helpfull, dont forget after formating to do " fdisk /mbr" command about 30 time incase they have got into you master boot record. low level format ( you can get the Hard drive utility for that at the manufactores webpage that makes your HD.), Fdisk the MBR, and reinstall, then reistall a good Anti-virus softwares and run an update then and only then scan your files on your cd's and if they are clean put them back into place if you are not able to do that. format your Hd after back-ups hit me up if you dont know how then take it to you local computer store.. i normal charge a 1 1/2 bench labor for a full install at my shop.. 65/hour.. any more questions you can hit me up on icq tomorrow :-)

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/[email protected]

is the first page you want to go to. [email protected] adds the w32.elkern.3326.html virus.

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ven...kern.3326.html

Once you kill the viruses, then you'll need to narrow down the trojan horse. Odds are its a sub7 tho

There are removla links on the 2 pages I listed above to get rid of the virii

Always run a search on a virus that doesn't appear in symantecs lists. Most have more than one name.

Try this software. It called "the cleaner" it has a database of over 700 trojans. Download it and use the free trial to see if it will save you. It got me out of trouble a while back. Goto this url http://www.virtualsoftware.com/ProdPage.cfm?ProdID=1068

Toward the bottom of the page they mention the trial. Hope it works for you.
