Thanks, much appreciated. The party rocked, I can't believe how off the hook the performances were. Wait until our sponsors see their branded video clips, post production exposure is going to get really good. B Real was super cool to hang with, Flavor Flav had the time of his life and rocked the house ALL NIGHT! Don Magic Juan and the other famous pimps added a nice element to our pimp and ho theme. One of the pimps hated on me at the beginning of the night when they saw me roll up into Don Magic Juans room pimpin' in my suit and pimp cup. I won him over when they got Players Cards. I looked so good, I made a couple jealous, The Bishop broke it down that way to me. Funny shit. My pimp hand was super strong. Flavor Flav told my agent that he wouldn't collaborate with the other artists because he's a one group artist, Public Enemy. Well, his standards dropped as he let loose and had a blast. Matter of fact, Digital couldn't get their mic back from him, he was doing, "911 is a joke in yo town, get up and get get down..." Wait until I get this video back. The Surreal Players Ball is what they will call this one for years to come. Flavor Flav has his new show airing on VH-1, "Strange Love" tomorrow night. |

Although STC received a lot of love before the ball, due to events out of our control and D-Money's, we were slighted on our performance. We might have been forgotten on stage but for playa's sake don't let the thread die without us!
On another note the ball was one of the highlights of the Vegas trip and probably added 3 days of needed recovery to my life. The only answer I can see is that Ytcracker and Phlow need a spot to performin Internext in August since infact it will still be 05' or a spot doubled up in 06' |

I think he was there, might have been him. Can't tell with that cloud of smoke. Lot's of players were in the house. My highlights were DMC and DJ Premiere kickin' it with us. Players Ball is getting rave reviews from the music and tv world. Thanks again to all of our sponsors, this wasn't a D$ party, it was the sponsors party. I'd write again the big list of sponsors, but in this post the most important sponsors that deserve the most thanks are the 3 main sponsors, NATS Mensniche MerchSolutions No doubt, they are the MVP's of the party, their contributions at the time they committed was the reason we were able to secure that big name talent roster. Glad I booked Flav when I did, he's blowing up right now. Charlie, John, Scott, Darren, Andy and Daniel, your support is greatly appreciated and I'll make sure the promotions continue for weeks to come. I still have a ton of video for people to see, branded with every sponsors name in them. |
D$ -
DormBucks had a good time, as always. A couple of our guys had to wait outside for a while, but Tim and I made it in in less than 4 minutes. I also thought the control of the passes was definately better than in years past. last year there were too many people for the venue and was glad I was upstairs. This year it was pretty easy to move throughout. Wish I could have stayed all night... but I had something I had to do. Thanks again for putting yet another one together. ~Brett |

Yo baddog, it was great to finally meet you in person. Don't fret about age, there is alot to be said about being wiser than most :winkwink: |
Alternative Cash had a great time. Sanjay was all kindsa faded, and who am I kidding, so was I!!
Other than a little venue attitude at the begining, it was awesome and the performances were mad! Cypress Hill was FUCKING awesome. |

It was great meeting you as well, and had a great time at your warm up party. Let me know when your ready to go with the affiliate program on those figurines. |
The Players Ball always raises the bar.
If it did not have problems, this would tell me the show is tired and ready to be retired. But, having been one of the "bitching" ones with no jacket for an hour outside [until security pulled me from the crowd], the show was phat and the best one yet. Props D$, KB and thank-you to the sponsors. I always love to "dick" the playette of the year! Congrats Princess [Marsha] from the webmaster board "ratedhot.com" YO YO! Phat. :-) |

yes http://cherryredass.com/2609.jpg I got the hook up with an artist pass (thanks JFK), so I was able to wander around a little more freely |

On another note, the sponsors should have really registered themselves in the system and regged for a Players Card. Sponsors were telling security they were sponsors, but so many people told them that because they had sponsor passes. So the concept of these cards are to prove you're a VIP with a plastic card. Everyone had a chance to have a card if they were sent codes and everyone who regged for a card were sent an email or 2 before the Players Ball explaining to pick up their Cards at Border Grill on the 5th. One of the key improvements int he Players Ball system are the addition to the Players Cards. No one fully understood the concept. My experience in throwing big events tells me that problem can occur at the door. So as a back up, I created a concept of line privileges through an everyones equal process rewarding the ones who paid attention to this system in place. I think for future Players Balls, sponsors will take it more seriously about hooking up their people (and themselves) with Player Codes (and then reg for Player Cards) as a back up plan for getting in the venue quicker. And at the same time, most of the people who had Player Cards waiting for them never came to pick them up. I personally ran around handing them to people. |
Yo D! Thanks for my Players Card. I look forward to using it wherever and whenever I can!

And huge thanks to Alien for spending so much time and effort on that bad ass design. Also, Mark Altman from Epassporte, thanks again for your help. did I thank Jeff Southworth yet? Jeff, you rock bro, thanks for your help too. Chris Mallick is the Player Of The Year, I have a big dick for you! Seriously. |

I'm aware of crowd conditions, but this was different...this wasn't a simple crowd push, he BARGED through and ran over WOMEN...this was beyond a simple crowd push and sway...way beyond |
My pimp hand was strong with 3 Player Cards. I think there were a couple people that appreciated that I had extras to loan them.

I'm asuming you were the idiot who was sreaming at me about how important you were and would't let me past cause I was approved in by the bouncers and you weren't. I remember someone there who kept going on and on and on and on about how important they were and whinning why I was allowed in and not them. It was really pathetic. Is this you attempt at trying to be a big man? Some kind of revenge thread thing? I had loafers on, I SERIOUSY doubt I stepped on your wife's foot, I think I would have noticed, but I'm Not going to say it isn't impossible. If I hurt someone I SINCIRLY apologise. The line was HORRIBLE. I will say you didn't have the DECENCY to move aside when I was allowed in and YOU weren't and you kept crying about that. Grow the fuck UP. I was supposed to be presenting and I arrived with one of the sponsers, not a vip pass like you had. We called people who mattered and they pointed us out of the crowd and let us in. If you knew anyone you could have done the same, but you just decided you wouldn't let anyone in before ALMIGHTY and all important you. |

no, you BARGED your fucking way through to get up there...I didn't say shit to you Pattyecake and Tarpy were there too and saw the whole fucking thing I also had a sponsor suite pass, not a VIP pass....but I wasn't doing any crying to you... yup, you were holding hands with 3 people...and you barged your way up through with them...they should have been ashamed to have been seen with you. I always figured your lack of class was a board personna, now I know that's not true...you are a clueless, classless jackass we're in agreeance on the line being horrible, but that's NO excuse to barge your way through and run people over... |

Sykk. Dude, sue. It will be an easy win. I would recommend small claims court so he can't use his money to hire a lawyer. If he doesn't show up, it will be a default judgment then have the judge submit the papers to the State Dept. |

I got in about 5 minutes after you did, because I had a sponsor suite pass... it wasn't about you getting through, you barged through bellowing "sponsor!" without even so much as an excuse me...maybe you said excuse to a few people behind us, but not to those you shoved. |
I really wanted to check out Evan DJ and Cypress Hill but alas I was one of those 100-200 people that gave up trying to get in. Venue bouncers didn't know what the players card even was and the VIP passes were being declined as well. I'll check out the post production videos though and I heard from people that got in it was great.
