That sucks they didn't get in, but in all fairness, if people waited long enough with that bullshit the security pulled, everyone got inside. I can totally understand people getting pissed with the wait and standing out in the cold, I'd be mad too. My deepest apologies for those people who froze their asses off waiting. I'm still trying to figure out the logic that security was using, why should people stand outside when the second entrance was inside? I fought so hard and got no where.

Now let's answer this one, "Fact is, i saw mainly ces all over going inside while internext people got left out. "

No way. Maybe just a few people you might have talked to, but some CES people are in the wireless industry which is crossing over with porn, I invited a bunch myself. Wireless is the next big thing, glad they came. Voda Phone higher ups had a blast, and they can be my guests any day. I guarantee you, it was hard enough for our own industry to get passes, there weren't passes flowing around like in years past, this one was the most exclusive events I've ever thrown.

Now you know shit got out of control with security when Cypress Hill couldn't get in. Just know that I had a team of people helping me, and I personally stood at the door for a long time and tried my hardest to get people inside.

Once people were inside, the party was well worth the wait. I'd be pissed if I waited all that time for a lame ass party. Considering the elements, big name talents, private industry event, Vegas CES time of year, it could have been a lot worse.

Everyone's pass said VIP. That was confusing as people were holding up their pass expecting to be waved thru' the crowd which was fast turning into an angry mob. It took me about 30 minutes of waving my Players Card 8 feet in the air to be finally spotted by the doorman and my group let in. It was getting pretty ugly outside, not to mention the cold.

I don't understand why the club didn't use the indoor entrance like last year and why they didn't have TWO LINES, one for Sponsors and Card Holders and one for general admission. Problem solved.

That was the only glitch for me, once inside everyone in my group had an awesome night, thanks again D$ for making it happen. Looking forward to next year.

A good friend of mine had a bottle land on his head.
Ended up with several staples and was taken to the hospital. Blood everywhere on his shirt, he came back after the hospital wondering if I had a ride back. I said, "DUDE! I had no idea where you been I wondered what happened to ya!"
Definatly one of the nicest guys in the world I was rather stunned that the Venue allowed bottles on the upper deck area.

I am kinda pissed about that.
I shelled out 40 Bucks for a limo ride that costed 90 bucks. Some of the other people that rode along were to cheap I guess.

The Players Ball as a whole was fucken awesome though, had a great time during the party. I got in way early so I have no idea what the line and stuff was about.

Cypress Hill was just awesome. That being said, the venue people sucked for the most part.

Thanks to everyone that came to our pre-party! We had a great time with it and look forward to doing it again!

pimp dangling was the funniest shit i've seen so far in 2005 ...lol...hahahahahahaha
I stood and watched as the pimp climb over a rail at the Players Ball and found out it was a long way down the hard way...As other pimps backed up in fear of scuffing, scratching or droping there pimp cups, they causually watched a fellow Pimp in distress...fall to the dance floor and never spilled a drop of his Pimp juice....incredible....hahahahahaha....
pls email me Chronic Avenger when you guys post the video......
Yes there is exclusive video of this rare situation.....

D, Big thanks from Mobbucks.com! The party was one of the best I've ever been to.

We got there early at the indoor entrance, me and my boys (along with a few hotties we picked up along the way) went right in, no problem. The stage show was incredible, performers were top notch. I never thought I'd see my attorney/consigliore waiving his hands in the air singing along with Digital Underground...great stuff. My legal bills are probably going to go down because of that party (and the incriminating pics we snapped of him ).

I think we will have a sitdown on Monday and bump you from associate, straight to Capo. Nice Job!

We had about 2000 in the venue. From what I gather, it sounds like 200 people gave up outside and left waiting.

I think we were all just kind of shocked at his actions and attitude and it didn't quite sink in....had I known he'd stepped on her foot and caused the damage he did, I would have done more about it....

I enjoyed myself for the short time i was there. The one thing annoying thing was the fact 50% of the Ball was non-adult.

If you sue Sleazy in U.S. and win, he will be denied entry into the U.S. for life.

Again, that is not true. My wife worked near the door all night, no one got inside that wasn't given a pass, and I issued the passes to all of the sponsors personally.

If a few people got passes from a sponsor that weren't a part of our biz, that's the only way they got inside, I know these stats for a fact.

Why would someone be denied entry to the U.S. over a civil law suit?

Pretty dirty trick he pulled there though.

I'm not out for a lawsuit...just a simple REAL apology...

what he did was show a real lack of class...some things are more important than money...

Judgment in a civil suit is an automatic withdrawl of visa.

Thanks, much appreciated.

The party rocked, I can't believe how off the hook the performances were.

Wait until our sponsors see their branded video clips, post production exposure is going to get really good.

B Real was super cool to hang with, Flavor Flav had the time of his life and rocked the house ALL NIGHT! Don Magic Juan and the other famous pimps added a nice element to our pimp and ho theme. One of the pimps hated on me at the beginning of the night when they saw me roll up into Don Magic Juans room pimpin' in my suit and pimp cup. I won him over when they got Players Cards. I looked so good, I made a couple jealous, The Bishop broke it down that way to me. Funny shit. My pimp hand was super strong.

Flavor Flav told my agent that he wouldn't collaborate with the other artists because he's a one group artist, Public Enemy. Well, his standards dropped as he let loose and had a blast. Matter of fact, Digital couldn't get their mic back from him, he was doing, "911 is a joke in yo town, get up and get get down..." Wait until I get this video back. The Surreal Players Ball is what they will call this one for years to come.

Flavor Flav has his new show airing on VH-1, "Strange Love" tomorrow night.

Although STC received a lot of love before the ball, due to events out of our control and D-Money's, we were slighted on our performance. We might have been forgotten on stage but for playa's sake don't let the thread die without us!

On another note the ball was one of the highlights of the Vegas trip and probably added 3 days of needed recovery to my life.

The only answer I can see is that Ytcracker and Phlow need a spot to performin Internext in August since infact it will still be 05' or a spot doubled up in 06'

I think he was there, might have been him.

Can't tell with that cloud of smoke.

Lot's of players were in the house.

My highlights were DMC and DJ Premiere kickin' it with us.

Players Ball is getting rave reviews from the music and tv world.

Thanks again to all of our sponsors, this wasn't a D$ party, it was the sponsors party. I'd write again the big list of sponsors, but in this post the most important sponsors that deserve the most thanks are the 3 main sponsors,

NATS
Mensniche
MerchSolutions

No doubt, they are the MVP's of the party, their contributions at the time they committed was the reason we were able to secure that big name talent roster. Glad I booked Flav when I did, he's blowing up right now.

Charlie, John, Scott, Darren, Andy and Daniel, your support is greatly appreciated and I'll make sure the promotions continue for weeks to come. I still have a ton of video for people to see, branded with every sponsors name in them.

DormBucks had a good time, as always. A couple of our guys had to wait outside for a while, but Tim and I made it in in less than 4 minutes. I also thought the control of the passes was definately better than in years past. last year there were too many people for the venue and was glad I was upstairs. This year it was pretty easy to move throughout.

Wish I could have stayed all night... but I had something I had to do.

Thanks again for putting yet another one together.

Who was it, do you know? I know there was a lot of attitude and pushing going on in that line. I hope she's OK, because theres nothing like an experience like that to ruin a great time!

Alternative Cash had a great time. Sanjay was all kindsa faded, and who am I kidding, so was I!!

Other than a little venue attitude at the begining, it was awesome and the performances were mad! Cypress Hill was FUCKING awesome.

The Players Ball always raises the bar.

If it did not have problems, this would tell me the show is tired and ready to be retired.

But, having been one of the "bitching" ones with no jacket for an hour outside [until security pulled me from the crowd], the show was phat and the best one yet.

Props D$, KB and thank-you to the sponsors.

I always love to "dick" the playette of the year! Congrats Princess [Marsha] from the webmaster board "ratedhot.com"

YO YO! Phat. :-)

Awesome, glad you had fun. I feel good that you were able to get in right away, thanks for the support. I think I still have your Player Card, did I give it to you? I have like 200 Player Cards for people.

On another note, the sponsors should have really registered themselves in the system and regged for a Players Card. Sponsors were telling security they were sponsors, but so many people told them that because they had sponsor passes. So the concept of these cards are to prove you're a VIP with a plastic card. Everyone had a chance to have a card if they were sent codes and everyone who regged for a card were sent an email or 2 before the Players Ball explaining to pick up their Cards at Border Grill on the 5th.

One of the key improvements int he Players Ball system are the addition to the Players Cards. No one fully understood the concept. My experience in throwing big events tells me that problem can occur at the door. So as a back up, I created a concept of line privileges through an everyones equal process rewarding the ones who paid attention to this system in place.

I think for future Players Balls, sponsors will take it more seriously about hooking up their people (and themselves) with Player Codes (and then reg for Player Cards) as a back up plan for getting in the venue quicker.

And at the same time, most of the people who had Player Cards waiting for them never came to pick them up. I personally ran around handing them to people.

Thanks to Epassporte for working closely with me on this Players Card project, they backed it. Branding at its finest. "Powered by Epassporte"

And huge thanks to Alien for spending so much time and effort on that bad ass design. Also, Mark Altman from Epassporte, thanks again for your help. did I thank Jeff Southworth yet? Jeff, you rock bro, thanks for your help too.

Chris Mallick is the Player Of The Year, I have a big dick for you! Seriously.

I've mentioned in a few other threads it was SleazyDream
I'm aware of crowd conditions, but this was different...this wasn't a simple crowd push, he BARGED through and ran over WOMEN...this was beyond a simple crowd push and sway...way beyond
