What kind of Puters do you Perverts Use?

I bought a brand new Compaq on August 8, 2001 I was so happy with it. A super fast super comuter. Sadly it only lasted 2 weeks I called tech support and they told me my graphics card was bad. They had me send it out for repairs. When I got it back it was the same. I sent it out again. I still haven't gotten it back. I cant take it anymore I want my puter!! I talked to them today they said they ordered a new cpu for it and it is on back order They offered to extend my warranty but I just want my puter.
What is everyone else using?

Some advice: BUILD YOUR OWN

1: Although I do like their products, their support sucks. DO NOT BUY AN ABIT motherboard! Check out this e-mail I sent them. Their response is also included. http://www.aaron-matthews.com/abit/

2: Be careful with the Asus CUSL2 motherboard. I love ASUS and highly recommend their products but I have built 3 systems using this board and the 2 that had PIII 800EB processors have had nothing but problems. The third has an 833EB and it runs fine. It may be the that the processor is the culprit but a local computer store tells me that they have seen the same issues with the CUSL2 board and the 800EB combination.

I use a Dell Inspiron 8100 Laptop & a custom built server (using an abit motherboard, this will NEVER happen again)

My main home computer is as follows:

Asus CUV266-DLS motherboard
Dual PIII 1.2ghz Processors
2gb of RAM
30GB Western Digital ATA100 7200 RPM HD
60GB Western Digital ATA100 7200 RPM HD
Asus 50x CD Rom
Plextor 16/10/40A CDR/RW
Viper V770 Ultra 32MB AGP Video Card
Soundblaster Live
Internal SCSI Zip 100
USR/3Com 56k Hardware Modem
21" Hitachi Monitor .22DP I believe.

And a partridge in a pear tree.

Funny you should ask 'cause I'm looking to buy a new PC this weekend.

Fujitsu 15' monitor
Pentium II 266mhz
64mb ram
4.3gb hd
48x cdrom & Teac CD burner
Iomega Zip 100
4mb ATI graphics card

This baby may be a few years old but it has never once steered me wrong, I never had a single problem with this. And remember that I run my business and make a living off of this thing. Old is good. I'm gonna go with Fujitsu again for my new machine, superior build quality.

I go down to the store buy a bunch of stuff
and throw it into the box and hope.
Been doing that from the 8886 days.

I would never ever buy a Compaq computer,
but can not blame you for buying one.
I work on computer's is why I'd not buy Compaq.

Have customer's I do remote software maint. for and alot of problems with Compaq's. Cost them alot of extra money.
