US Consumer Groups Against Canadian Cattle Imports

Two US consumer groups on Monday urged the United States to delay reopening its border to young Canadian cattle due to concerns that Canada may find more cases of mad cow disease.

LOL. THe last case of BSE was found in Washington and was proven to have no connection to Canada, despite the original cliams that was. At least the beef prices are still fairly low.

The mad cow was found by a fluke (not by the claimed rigorous processes) and the guy that found it was muzzled from square one.

There should not be a single case of mad cow anywhere - mad cow is the result of ignorant practices. An industry responsible for causing preventable freak mutant diseases CANNOT be trusted to ensure safety.

The US agencies which oversee the 'safety' re livestock refused to allow a forward thinking US based firm to test ALL of their livestock for BSE - why?
