Tornado's In LA??

WTF is going on in LA?

A tornado struck the Los Angeles suburbs of Inglewood and Ladera Heights on Wednesday, snapping trees and damaging cars, but causing no injuries. Power outages hit more than 140,000 customers across five counties and portions of several highways were closed due to flooding, mud or snow.

The bad conditions turned Southern California freeways into a virtual demolition derby. The California Highway Patrol logged 220 crashes between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning ? more than three times the normal amount.

I know where you are going with this and I thought the same when I heard that also. When was the last time a tornado hit in Los Angeles!?! That wasn't really a suburb that was hit, it's VERY central.

There's some strange things going on right now. If we see a couple more of these natural disasters popping up in the next month or two I'm going to start heading to church on Sunday!

The sky is falling! the sky is falling!

It is seeming more end time-ish. I am not religious at all, but may join you at that church.

The imbalance that the quake gave the earth was minor but it only takes a minor change to bring havoc to the earth as a whole...

Mother Nature is not happy atm it seems and the ripple that every major quake causes effects everything and is exponential. The tornados are concerning as is an overall global shift in weather patterns that can cause devestation.

When is the last time somewhere other than a trailer park was hit by a tornado?

I guess this is it. Everyone prepare for their impending doom.

And what started out as a brilliant sunny morning by the beach is clouding over already. I need to fix the leaks on my ark, dammit.

KRL, I'm going to put you on my icq list. Every day when you post your weather reports can you send them to me so I dont have to go looking for them? lol

Weather and natural disasters intrigue me big time. So obviously I have been reading your 30 different threads about them over the past few days.. hahaha

You obviously have no idea where Inglewood is if you think it is central LA. It is at least 20 miles from downtown LA.

Last time we had a tornado? Hmmm, late 70's, early '80 that I recall, although I do remember one time in the late 80's that it seemed like we had a tornado, but being it was nighttime, it was another of those unconfirmed events.
