Anyone have any experience hooking up a DVD player to a sattelite box? - GoFuckYourself.com

Trying to setup my grandparents with their xmas gift and I can't figure out how to get the damn sattelite reciever box to switch over to the DVD player.

The tv's too old to connect it directly to it.

I know I most likely won't get an answer here but getting desperate.

You might be better off googling.

are you using rca cables to connect the dvd player to the sat receiver? there should be some sort of input selection you have to select. I know my moms dvd player couldn't be hooked up to her cable receiver with rca cables.

Yeah, RCA cables is all the player came with - and sat box has plugs for em.

Just can't get it to switch over.
