Disk Read Error

Disk Read Eror - CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart

I got that message. When I booted my computer up today. But, after the restart. It loaded right up and I didn't receive that message.

Should I be worried about shutting down my computer, again?

Buy an external drive tomorrow/today USB 2.0 / firwire whatever just so long as it's big. Backup all your shit right away. Might want to consider getting a new drive. How old is the drive offhand?
