Need Help PLEASE...cookies... bookmakers...redirect

Need help... PLEASE.
I have galleries on pay-hosting.
I use .access to redirect errors 404... and to protect hotlinks...

But i need to redirect bookmakers from my galleries... As i know i need to use cookies for it, BUT HOW...

Please give me some INFO about this..

Re-directing bookmarkers can be a bad move. You can count visits in a cookie and send them to another page when the set number is reached. Also, bookmarkers may not draw off your BW on the following visit if thats the concern. Re-direct with style not pop up hell

But how can i count them in a cookie?
What i need for it? I want to redirect them to me free site (with TOP lists)

Is it bad idea???

Somewhere in my shit heap PC there is a ready made action cookie counter using java can't put my hand on it right now but I am sure someone here has one ready or knows a man that does. Be careful with TGP rules if thats your game !

leave those bookmarkers alone!

made 3 sales this week from a single bookmarked gallery, and this goes on and on, many marketing gurus think that it might take up to 7 visits to a site for someone to buy anything...

just let them bookmark, the amount of BW they'll use is minimal, and when they get back to visit after a month or two, bam, you might get a sale...
