Besides the 150 already known group of muslim extremists here in Holland a new report by the Dutch internal security service speaks about a group of 10.000 muslims who can turn to extremists. A constantly growing group of muslims are "redisovering" the Koran in a more extreme way and are trying to achieve a 100% muslim state. This group of people is very much against anything that has to do with western culture.

Yup, lets all move to Holland to complain about the western culture and fight it.

Out of 16 million people living in Holland 1 million is muslim. Within 2 generations the 4 biggests cities of Holland are expected to have a majority of muslim citizens.

It's actually a plan for the muslims to take over the world that is what their religion calls for. Look at france it's going to be a majority muslim in 10 years and they are pretty much being told to have mroe and more babies not looking good...

Open door policies are great for the economy, for a while, but there is a point when a country should put its foot down -- Holland prospered greatly when the opened up their ?canal? / ?flood gates? while never discriminating against any persons, but by the looks of it, it is time to batten down the hatches and be very selective.

IMHO: Hell yah they are extremist! Any faction that believes killing someone because that person does not pre/subscribe to the mentioned mentality is fucking crazy and packed full of I can't think for myself, so I will let some freak dictator or some book tell me what's what kinda weirdos.

I actually agree with this. Every time I moved to a ne wcountry, I learned to assimilate with new culture still preserving my own culture. A few weeks ago I was talking to a Muslim woman in my class. We were discussing the Basque and how they attack for their freedom, well she pointed out that it was perfectly ok for the Basque to be terrorist just like her people because it's fo a good cause against the white man....I was stunned...she arrived to the states as a child, has lived here for over 20 years and she feels that it's alright that teh Muslims don't assimilate to new cultures, and that it's ok for them to do whatever they want in the name of Allah!!

The fact that only 10k muslims out of 1 million are at risk means that there is no chance in hell of extremist islam gaining a foothold in Dutch politics. That's one important thing to consider - with so few extremists, the country won't be "overrun" by muslims seeking an islamic state.

Now, let's not look at it black and white. Let's not pretend that all muslims are the same, and let's take into account that half the muslims in our country don't specifically think a muslim party is needed - as a recent survey discovered (Nova). And let's not forget that currently, the single biggest party in the country is a christian one (which got 7% of the muslim vote, by the way).

To say that "muslims will eventually always choose for their fellow muslim" is ridiculous. Muslims are not a homogenous group, and the westernized ones will not choose extremism. They may pray to Allah - just like christians pray to God - but they drink alcohol, watch porn and listen to rap music.

10k people "at risk of becoming extremists" does not mean that there actually are 10k extremists. It means that out of the muslims in our country, only 1% have a possible chance of turning to extremism - and let's not forget that an extremist isn't necessarily a terrorist, it's just someone with extreme views. So 1% of the muslims in our country may in the future start having extreme views. Big fucking deal.

Oh, and obviously this "statistic" is just something the AIVD pulled out of their asses. Exactly 1% of muslims are at risk of turning to extremism? I call bullshit.
