What amount of sign ups gets a sponsor to notice an affiliate?

Roughly, what are the sales quotas that need to be met before a sponsor will change a programs rules/weekly payouts etc. For example if i wanted weekly payouts versus bi-monthly? 300, 1000. ???

Never really asked my sponsors, didnt think it was an option, but im hearing otherwise now so wondering.

Don't bother asking if you don't send 5,000 signups a week.

If you can send 300 weekly, then you deserve special treatment for sure.

So if im sending 550+ sign ups per week currently to my webcam sponsors, i should be able to get something. Currently im lucky to get an email. But I also spread that out over 6 sponsors. Didnt want to put all the eggs in one basket .

Is it industry standard to ask for more $$ per sup or work out a special deal on higher volume. Only been in the industry for a little over a year so not sure on this one.

Ask if you believe you deserve special attention. If any of them say no - move on. They need you more than you need them.

what qualifies as a top affiliate in general. Do affiliates really send 1000+ sign ups per week to a program? 2000+? i have no idea what qualifies, thats why i never bothered to ask for more.

Sounds like you are using Click Cash ;)

In general, when you promote the biggest sponsors, it may happen that they aren't nice to you, don't reply to emails, or don't offer special treatment.
I mean if the program makes 5k sales daily, then your 40 sales daily are great, but not as great as for a new program that gets 150-200 sales daily.

So it's obvious that for such a smaller program, you are a golden affiliate so they should treat you in the appropriate way. Many promisse this, and a few actually do.

Once again, we haven't even started our program yet, but when we do, you will be more than welcomed to send us some of your traffic and we will be able to offer you the best deal possible.
Feel free to contact me if you would like to get notified when we start, you don't seem to be on the board so often.

I guess it would depend on the sponsor.
If you are promoting a small sponsor like my friend www.evalovescum.com and sent her some joins she would notice you right away.
If you are promoting Nastydollars...(see sig) then you would need to send them like 50 per day to get noticed.

Hey Atticus, at AdultActionCash we treat all our affiliates special. If you are already sending traffic to our webcam site, hit me off if you have any requests. If you aren't sending traffic to www.adultactioncam.com, check it out and ICQ me anytime and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.

it depends on the sponsor, their amount of active affiliates.. how much their top 10 affiliates send per period.

ive worked out deals with smaller sponsors to actually give me up to 80% revshares thru ccbill, not sure if they were just new to the biz, desparate for affiliates, or if they could actually afford it. but im leaning on just desparate.

i wouldnt seriously take advantage of them tho, just wanted to see if they would actually do it

Polish basically put it all in words for you. If you are capable of sending 300 per week, you should at least ask. I doubt you will be turned down.

Volume of sales is not the only measure of a good affiliate.

An affiliate who converts at good rates is a bonus and much more preferred over an affiliate who sends unqualified traffic which chews up the sponsor's bandwidth without any tangible return.

Demands on support and 'hand-holding' are other factors which can make an affiliate more or less of an asset to the sponsor.

If you can do 300 sales per month most sponsors will talk to you on ICQ and answer your questions. My best sponsor rings me every now and then and asks If I have susgestions or need anything.

Probably 5% of affiliates with an average sponsor do around 90% of the core biz.

What that coverts to on signups vary with each sponsor - but anyone who sends just 50 - 100 signs/week deserves some attention, - tho the degree of attention will depend on how the sponsor values affiliates. (yea, I know affiliates are the lifeblood of a sponsor, but some folks just have different values).

Probably 500 signs/week to a smaller sponsor is gold - others like eg Clickcash would not blink an eye :-)

As long as they pay - who cares?

That's total bullshit.
If an affiliate converts 1 in 250, that means I get 250 views to my exit consoles for every join he sends. (assuming all surfers see the consoles)

If another affiliate converts 1 in 1000 then I get 4 times the exit console views per sale....which means more exit console revenue per sale PLUS more traffic back from the people that you're trading exit traffic with.

Bandwidth is super cheap these days....if you're worried about affiliates chewing up your bandwidth from hits to the tour then you don't belong in the paysite business.

Also, I forgot to add.....unfiltered traffic will bring you more exit console revenue than filtered traffic will.....the whole purpose of the exit console is to filter the traffic.

So if an affiliate is naive enough to put a blind link to a teen site on a MILF gallery, then the paysite owner can make a MILF sale on the exit console....etc etc

You should be able to get fair treatment from any sponsor. Keep in mind that sometimes the cost of doing something outweighs the result.

So sending a weekly wire for 50 bucks is a waste of money to the sponsor and the affiliate.

For the most part i will work to make sure every affiliate is happy and is able to get fast reliable support and payment options.

Get in touch, if you need anything.

With me it doesn't matter. I regularly communicate with all my affiliates to find out if there is anything they need or any assistance I can provide them. Sometimes I just BS with them and I always try to fulfil their requests that they have as long as it's within my power

yeah
I would also add a consistant affiliate will get some attention as well...someone who just sends 10 signups here and 5 there, might not get as much attention as the guy who sends 10-15 per day, every day...but, there are exceptions of course
