Good move

I wish I did that when e-Groups became Yahoogroups

Another added value of google groups is they help you SYNDICATE your group content via Atom feeds http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.p...r=697&topic=36

Nice add on that Yahoogroups doesn't have

I ran adultegroups.com for a while.

Site got tons of traffic after yahoo killed adult groups from search results. Maybe I should put it back up.

"registering" a shitoad of google groups is retarded.

Its not like a domain or yahoo groups and you can change the name/settings any time.

all your really registering is the @googlegroups.com email and even that can be changed later.

the search is more message/content based than it is group based (IE having a good group title does not mean your gonna get traffic from people searching the groups)

Don't know if I like the idea of putting a lot of work into moderating a group if there is gonna end up being google ads all over it either.

Only thing pissing me off with blogspot, its the bunch of retards who try to modify the password on them almost everyday with the lost password recovery system ... i get a email each time

yeah its TOTALLY retarded ... dont do it ..

Especially if they do like they made before with froogle ... put those beta results on TOP of the main google results page (Beside News)

Its totally retarded to reg a ton of google groups to target those keywords ...

Please, continue to think that ;)
