2006 Hummer H3

http://www.caranddriver.com/article....age_num ber=1

"For most Hummer buyers, off-road ability means something like easily trudging out of the muddy parking lot at a horse show; that the H3 can conquer the Rubicon is impressive, reassuring, and ego swelling but ultimately academic. There's nothing on the Rubicon that simulates parallel parking, commuting along I-5, or climbing the speed bumps at Target. In fact, the trail doesn't even offer a chance to rev the H3's engine much beyond its torque peak of 225 pound-feet at 2800 rpm or get the transmission out of first gear. Nor can we tell you how the truck rides on fully inflated tires."

LOL

I hated the H2's for a good while.

Now I really like em.. Ive been thinking about getting one.

But my wife told me she's leave me if i got one..

Im still thinking I should get one.

I think she is bluffing..

Not sure why women hate em so much...

Anyhow that H3 is real fuckin ugly..................

But thats what I thought about the H2 before.

Now I want one...

Just of note, there are very FEW people who have legitmate needs for SUV's. Soccer moms should stick with wagons or sedans.

Europe is starting to ban SUVs for the big lumpy poluting gasguzzling monsters they are.

One market less to sell the shit to...

how was it explained to me?

h2's are for those who cannot afford a hummer and who are severely lacking in successful areas.

look at and knowing a cpl of men who do have h2s, i would have to agree.

Get a clue from someone who has owned both the H1 & H2: They are totaly different vehicles. You do not want a H1 for a daily driver, but the H2 is damn nice. Its not built for those who cant afford an H1. Go drive a H1 a hundred miles down the interstate and you'll be ready to get out and walk.

You're comparing a nice SUV to a vehicle designed for warfare. And its obvious you havent driven either one.

I'm sure if you gave the US army more money they'd be shipping out H2's to iraq in no time. Completely different machines.

Its a modified Tahoe chassis and a different body, but with better offroad capability.

An Escalade is a Chevy Suburban, or a Chevy Avalanche depending on which model you get.

And before all this started, a FireBird was a Camaro.
