actually your half right, if your incorportaed in nevada (I am) then you do not pay taxes on what the company makes (federal taxes), but if you live in another state (like I do now) you still have to pay business taxes on what the company pays to its employees. Even if you live in nevada you still have to pay the business taxes, the rates just change with the state you live in.

I have a company that does my payroll and payroll taxes for me and make the deposits so I do not have to worry about doing it myself.

I read in a book on how to hide assets that a big advantage to a Nevada corp was that people (except govt) could not find out who owned the corp. Any truth to that?

Yes, I do.

The advantages are no state income taxes for the corporation. I live in Texas so I don't pay personal income taxes either.

It is possible for a certain amount of anonymity if the corporation is setup correctly. There are requirements for corporate meetings and minutes. I'm assuming you handled everything through a Nevada attorney and you have an "corporate office" in the state.
