Does Anyone own a Navada Corp.?

I just formed one.
What perks do you enjoy from it?

Giorgio_Xo 12-17-2004 07:37 PM

I save the 9% I used to give to California.

Just hope you dont get audited. You are taxed where you do business not where you are incorporated

Is that anything like a "Nevada Corporation"?

Yes. I don't think i'll pull any shit like that.

actually your half right, if your incorportaed in nevada (I am) then you do not pay taxes on what the company makes (federal taxes), but if you live in another state (like I do now) you still have to pay business taxes on what the company pays to its employees. Even if you live in nevada you still have to pay the business taxes, the rates just change with the state you live in.

I have a company that does my payroll and payroll taxes for me and make the deposits so I do not have to worry about doing it myself.

I read in a book on how to hide assets that a big advantage to a Nevada corp was that people (except govt) could not find out who owned the corp. Any truth to that?

UniversalPassLorence 12-17-2004 09:42 PM

None, unless you are a resident and then you can save the state tax.

Of course. Nominees. But with Patriot Act IV around the corner - it means shit. :1orglaugh

Yes, I do.

The advantages are no state income taxes for the corporation. I live in Texas so I don't pay personal income taxes either.

It is possible for a certain amount of anonymity if the corporation is setup correctly. There are requirements for corporate meetings and minutes. I'm assuming you handled everything through a Nevada attorney and you have an "corporate office" in the state.
