Integrating Photoshop and Dreamweaver
If anyone has some time I sure would appreciate some help with this.
I can create pages in both Photoshop and Dreamweaver and then clean up the code(or try to rather) in Notepad but I prefer creating pages/graphics in PS.Image Ready is my friend! But I am having problems using sponsors' animated gifs in PS/IR. I have a hard time using a hardlink to the gif...always have hated hardlinks.I need TOTAL control over what is on the page I put my name on(I've been bit in the ass before with hardlinks)! ANYWAY...Must I manually"re-create" my sponsors gif to allow IR to output my page?I feel there MUST be an easier way. Also...if anyony can help...how do I integrate a "sliced"html page from PS into DW with the intention of adding an animated gif by way of DW....or any graphic for that matter.Or would you just create a graphic "background" for an "eventual" DW page in PS which would then eliminate any chance to use my PS slices...I obviously need some help/direction please!? I don't wish to waste anyones time with stupid questions. So I hope these questions at least have some merrit! Whenever someone has some time I would appreciate some insight. Thank you Xenthan PS This would be a "NO JAVA" page. |

Regarding the sponso banner dude, just get the size and use a "Dummy" that ist he same sizer as the banner you intend.
Swap the banner in with the PS output. Wait... Just use Adobe Image ready to out put your stuff no wonder your having a hard time. Take the output drop it in dream weaver edit the shit and upload. Ya must be working to much to think ya want to place a banner inside a slice work first and not afterward. Goodluck.

I havnt got a clue if this will work but for the second part of your question
U can open and edit and save PSDs in FWorks..... which has the required DW integration Would involve some juggling but I think it may help Possibly ![]() Dont worry about the other response It translates as "Hi and welcome to GFY" in these parts |

Easiest way
I think this answers part two for you. Get your banner width and length. Create a new file using that width and link. Set the background to black. Drag your new image into your existing layout. Place it where your banner will be added later in DW.....slice it up. Bring it into DW and you have a perfect space waiting for it. Your all set.
