help appreciated! SP2 auth question
hey everyone,
i am trying to load an htaccess protected site in a frames page from another domain. before all i would have to do is link it to: http://user:[email protected]/members/ windows service pack 2 changed all that and it now only works in safari and firefox, if i load it in ie it says "page cannot be displayed" is there anyone who could help me do what i'm trying to do with possibly some sort of script? thank you |

p.s. i know there are other ways to do password management besides htaccess, but unfortunately i cant change anything on the other site

Microsoft disabled this feature (http://user:pass@....) in IE
to enable it you have to change some settings in registry (I don't remember what exactly) so back to your question - you can't modify it with any javascript or something like that |
