Yes over 4000 lbs but thats cruising in style. I haven't had the time to find one to test drive yet but they sure look nice.

Far from the fastest car on the road but in a class of its own.

This next Spring / Summer I'd love to drive to California, and have a webmaster meet and greet at a rented out drag-strip. :)

Depending on how much time I have to tune and sort out my Supra's drag setup, I'd love to put a small wager on who's got the fastest drag strip, street legal, car on GFY. :) Hehehe would be fun to see what the ballers would bring out...

I'm hoping by summer to have the same parts as the other car my friend who owns lr-racing tuned:

http://www.lr-racing.com/T88_race_gas_small.JPG

He has two different parts than I do, cams and intake, which together run about 3k US. I could have 800 rwhp for 3k, but I can't buy driving skill... hehe

2004 VW Jetta TDI - Fully loaded.

When I bought it, it was the only diesel sedan on the market. Been running on B20 bio-diesel a year now and getting 1100KM to the $40 tank.

Saving the planet one tank at a time... though that's not very often. I usually go over a month between fill ups. :)

They are so popular up here, they are as common as Civics I swear to God!

In White Rock there are like 3 senior age women driving them around on huge chrome wheels. Not to mention there is this family that drives around an Escalade with spinners on it...

...worst yet is there is an HP promotional Escalade that is black with this awful looking green bodykit on it. I wish I had pics...

The Cl-65 is mindblowing, a huge sleeper, because people assume it's a crappy low end C series, but when it accelerates it's like taking off in a plane.

I've read up on the Dinan Supercharges alot becuase i have an M as well, I have heard mixed reviews, like you get the horsepower, but your times wont improve that much.

1 Rockford digital 1k watt 4 channel amp going to 6.5 inch Boston accoustic 3 ways... 1 Rockford digital 1kwayy 2 channel amp pushing my 10 inch diamond audio subs. Kenwood deck (which I'm switching out to an in dash monitor soon), 2 Gauge Phoenix Gold power wires (All phoenix gold wiring for the whole car). Custom sub boxes are built into where the rear glove compartments were. the amp rack is built under the rear bar in the trunk.

Nice system, but I don't use it for rap. I listen to mainly hardcore, punk, indy, industrial, etc.

Well that will suck. I didnt see any 0-60 or 1/4 mile times. But all I know is my S2 Dinan M5 is fast as hell and another 150 horses either way has to be faster :Graucho

We had to baby it because the track was very very green. (slippery) no rubber on the ground. It was a cool day out and we were running on stock tires. :(

Ever thought of getting race logic traction control for any of your cars?

http://www.racelogic.co.uk/

I'm going to run it on my Supra. Other high powered Supra owners ( 600+ horsepower ) rave on about how great it is. I will be running it when my car is back from getting widebodied.

I have nothing bookmarked, but there is alot of people that have done it and they share experiences, you can find lots of info at alot of info by searching the BMW forums.

Seems like a pretty cool product. I'll have to go read the rest of it. I'm not a big fan of traction control. I have it on my M5 and my Ferarri and the first thing I do when I start the car is turn it off. I like to feel the power and I like a little slippage. Lets me know where I'm at :)

Yea, I have seen some stuff on the BMW boards but those were putting super chargers on 540's and other cars. I was hoping you saw some literature on the new M5 S2 or (S3 maybe they call it) super charged... I can't wait

If not you'll have feedback from me in a month hopefully :)

Race logic is very advanced traction control. It even has a dial that you can set the % of slip you want. I've rode in a car with it and it feels amazing. You can floor it in a 600 horsepower car in the rain and RL allows you to accelerate at the absolute limits of traction. Amazing product.

It will help at the drag strip too, no worries about slamming into the wall after your tires slip going into 4th :)
