Adword advertisers : Now I know why Google created Google Suggest.

For one reason only : Adwords

http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en

All the popular keywords will get more searches and the prices of the bids will skyrocket.

The competition will be focused on the more popular searches.

This means that the "obscure" searches will vanish and get less attention.

For anyone using google adwords, enjoy.

There's always a business decision behind every move. Of course the SEO will think that it's because Google loves them.

Fools.

That doesn't make sense to me.

How will the prices of the popular keywords skyrocket. You are paying per click, not per impression.

The only effect will be more people seeing your ad, and more clicks at the same prices.

If anything, you would get more clicks.

With possibly more people seeing impressions, you theoretically will get more clicks at smaller prices as ads reach daily limits and drop off.

Example:

If someone begins are search for "ponds" but is suggested your keyword "porn", you dont pay unless they click your add.

I think it will increase the amount of impressions and clicks, not the amount per click.

Either way, the ad price shouldn't increase.

If no one goes for the smaller keywords it'll be much more crowded in the competitive terms.

I already said that 2 days ago. Fucking bastards need to die, Google is way too powerful, someone needs to bomb Googleplex

It's really easy to understand.

Popular searches are the most expensive ones. There's a lot of competition right now for the top keywords.

But you also have more obscure keywords. There is less traffic, less competition and it's less expensive.

But if you do a search using the "Google Suggest" they will suggest you the top keywords. Most surfers will use that suggestion. So the obscure keywords will vanish from the searches or they will be used less often.

So if you want to be competitive, you will have to bid for the top keywords or you won't get any traffic at all and your keywords will be disabled..

Get it now?

It's all about money..

I see!

I was looking at it from the point of the people competing for the popular keywords.

Its not gonna make the main page, it may be option in preferences or a tab like groups but not the default. IMHO
