This is true! I saw something on the Discovery channel about this. They created a bust of what Jesus would actually look like. He was very tan from being in the desert sun, dark hair, dark eyes and a VERY different shaped skull, nose etc.

I don't know who started portraying Jesus as a clean shaven white man with a beard (and sometimes blue eyes), but Jesus was Jewish, dark skinned and not even close to looking like what some people believe.

So some priests get charged. It's a very small percentage to generalise. And it only happened in Catholic church. (there are other religions out there, that are much bigger that Catholics)

Obviously? Any historical evidence detailing Christ's birth comes from the Bible, if you don't believe in that then whats the point in discussing Jesus and Mary. You are correct that Mary was pregnant out of wedlock according to Biblical accounts in the Gospels. So you choose to believe the part of the Biblical account of Jesus birth that you are comfortable with, (her being out of wedlock, 13 and pregnant), but not the fact that she was immaculately conceived.

Ugh, do you even bother reading what I wrote. I'm fully aware of the other historical documents outside the Bible that detail Christ's life, I've read most of them. I said the Bible was the only historical evidence we have that details Christ birth, specificallly the details surrounding Mary's conception and Jesus birth. I have seen the documentary the link is referring to.

You have based this whole thread referring to questions about Jesus' mother Mary, when the documentary was all about Mary Magdalene, somebody completely different. You continue to elude to your belief that Mary was physically impregnated, when the Bible does not say that at all, since there is no other writings detailing her conception your just speculating.

Again, the answer to your original question is no there was no outrage at her conception at that time because she was within normal age and no she was not murdered because God laid out a path to ensure the safety of her and the birth of his Son.
