These pieces of shit deserve to be shot

Many of the 5,000+ U.S. Military Deserters Since the Iraq War Started Are Heading to Canada:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/...in659336.shtml

Everyone of those cock sucking, yellow bellied, cowardice, pieces of slambastic amphibian shit, should be deported back to the U.S., given a 5 minute trial, then taken to the steps of congress, and shot in public..

In fact, I will buy the 5,500 bullets it will take, and donate them to the firing squad.. Hell I'd volunteer to be on the firing squad if they'd let me..

I serverd my country for 8 years in the Army, and went to Kuwait during Desert Storm. There is nothing that pisses me off more than to see horse shit like this..

What the fuck do these kids think when they join the military, that they're going to be stationed at some base here in the U.S. or overseas, and "Play Soldier" for their 2, 3 or 4 year stint??

Did they not READ their fucking enlistment contract, did they just midlessly repeat the oath they took when they joined, to defend the constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign & domestic??

Who the fuck do they think they are..

And I'm sorry, but for all you peace-nics who agree with what they did, you all can go to hell as well...

I don't agree with the war either, and certainly don't agree / support Bush, but when I enlisted, I knew what I was in for, and did my duty when ordered to do so.

It's one thing to avoid the draft, but in an all volunteer military, this bullshit is unexcusable.

SHOOT THEM ALL!!!

That isnt the point.......

they signed up to be a soldier and to follow orders, not to be a free thinking hippy. Terrorists will take over the world if they are left to do what they want, exactly like the nazi's would have in 1939.....was that an useless war?

Shooting terrorists is something else than shooting innocent people in Iraq.

They signed up for the army to do something right, not to do something wrong. I totally agree with them and would do the same. Theyre the victims of a madman called Bush.

Most of these deserters probably saw one of their mates get shot and thought "fuck this, im out". At least having wars marks out the weak from the strong, although im sure it will be disputed as to who the strong are....

so where is the 100,000 strong national armed force, that went missing when they invaded. You think that maybe some of them might be called "civilians" by local media....

Remember, a civilian with a gun, isnt a civilian........

But today?s American deserters, such as Brandon Hughey, will need to convince a Canadian immigration board that they are refugees.
Since Vietnam, I think it's going to be harder to hide in Canada.....

lol why would anyone willingly be sent to some hell hole to be decapitated by some ragheads, or worse yet kill innocent children and then be decapitated..

How is fighting in iraq protecting or helping america in any way whatsoever..

What it boils down to is the military is underpaid underprotected bodyguards for oil executives..

Why ? because they cant get enough PAID bodyguards to go over to iraq.

It takes alot of guts to be in the military and i thank each and every one of them for doing it, but i dont blame anyone for not wanting to be there..

Why aren't you there ????

Do you know what the army is like.....they didnt sign up to do "something right", they arent paid to determine whether something is right or wrong, they are paid to follow orders. That is exactly why people who leave their fellow soldiers in the lurch are called "deserters".

I think one of the problems is that the military chose to promote 'sign-ups' using images of awesome destinations that you can travel to.. the fun you can have.. etc etc.. so they appealed to the youth of today that they could get an education, travel and basically have an awesome time in the military, WHILE they get paid.

Then the war happens.. and all of a sudden it sinks in to these new soldiers that they might die (last I heard 1,001 soldiers have been killed in this war).. and so they freak out, shit themselves and head up to Canada hoping to be a refugee figuring that's not what they signed up for.

When you join the military you give your freedom up basically. You are now under orders and you must do what you are told regardless.. that is how the military can be successful. When people stop following orders and disobeying commands and fleeing, then the whole infrastructure gets out of whack, and THAT makes it more dangerous for those people who at least stick by their commitments and follow-through by completing their tour of duty.

I hope that our govt (Canada) kicks these guys back to the US. I mean, DOH!, if you had a problem with going to war, then you just shouldn't have signed up to be in the military..

LOL - and that was my 400th post

Yes!
That's exactly what they think!!!!
They think about the money for college and think that they more than likely won't have to go into an actual war.
Whether it's wrong for right, that's what they think.

Its about 1300 , the 1001 number is the number since the war started ( i.e. some died before it started )

As many iraq babies have been killed as americans died in total on 9/11

I agree - they should be given an 'opt-out' clause or something. But I guess the military doesn't want to invest the govt funds into a soldier and then not get their moneys worth back.

Exactly.. seems some of the soldiers are not just robots but thinking individual...

THey lure 18yo's in with patriotic ads, most of the time using 9/11, and then ask those kids to fight and die in a war completely unrelated to the security of their country, unrelated to terrorism.. A war that actually make their country more insecure than it was... a war that will create and motivate more terrorists...

The one thing that comes to mind is nazis are still being persecuted today for their actions in ww2. Even if they were just foot soldiers right. So a lot of people say bush is committing war crimes, etc. So what if in 20 years from now bush is looked at as a criminal? Those soldiers are fleeing as refugees because they dont want to take part in a CRIME, same way some Nazi's fleed from hitler.

Now im not saying bush is like hitler.. he's not half as bad. But its the same context, your ideologies dont match up with the one who is ordering you to do something. There has to be a point where somebody can say "I dont want any part of this" without being unpatriotic. So if someone chooses to abandon their regime, if its a matter of "I dont want to fight in any war" then thats pretty bad. But if someone just says "fuck this, bush is a nut case and im not going to take part in his agenda" then its completely different.

I've never read more dribbling bullshit in my life. Just because someone signs up in the military does not give a country the right to use those men as killing machines for whatever reason they see fit at the time. Protect your country? Yes. Invade another country based on false information? Bullshit. With your way of thinking all the Nazis running the death camps were doing the right thing. I'm glad some people in the world follow a higher law than the corrupt leaders we currently have. BTW, go fuck yourself.

They knew they where joining the military. Our tax dollars pay their paychecks and they fight wars in return. Thats the deal they all agreed too. 95% of the military serves with honor.
Now with all that said, the war is not going well and bush is an idiot for getting us into it. My friend just got back and said its 10 times worse over there than the news is showing.

Those soldiers are fleeing as refugees because they dont want to take part in a CRIME, same way some Nazi's fleed from hitler.
This is a very Valid point.
Bush is a war criminal make no mistake.

To take part in any part of his leadership and it's cabinate can be and just might be viewed as the Atrocity of the 21st century.

In the view of most foriegn countries Bush and his Cabinate are indeed War Criminal's. Infact...

They are War Criminals when looking at the Geneva Convention.

First off the first Gulf War was a totally different matter than this one. This war has been as controversial as Vietnam was and I honestly couldn't blame a soldier for deserting. There is no clear enemy and it sure as hell isn't the Iraqi people that our troops are being forced to shoot everyday.

So wow you went to Dessert Storm and spent what a week in combat during war? These guys have been seeing front line combat for the last two years. Don't even think for one second you can compare your experience in the first Gulf War, with this abortion our current administration has put our troops in.
