4 gig and over file ... still having problems on ntfs . Please help - GoFuckYourself.com

I'm trying to merge my lists . As soon as the file hit 4 gig, my program crashes . (Elist or lmate give me an error as soon as the file hit 4 gb) .

I thought that was a software problem, but BOTH do it at about the same size while sorting / merging files .

You successfully converted to ntfs an are still having trouble?
That's odd to say the least. I've had no problem dealing with 15gb video flies... hmm

What I suggest is you download Partition Magic and do some checks on your drives, apart from stating the obvious that something might be wrong with your programs, or HD there's not much else I can say.

Maybe a bit obvious but do you have enough space on your hd. For the actual file and the temp file? 8 gig minimum?
