Hi all,

Need a little help here. Long story short, a MAJOR asshole has stolen the main page text and tour text from one of my amateur sites and used it VERBATIM on a site of his! And then he has the nerve to say that it is copyright him! Which it OBVIOUSLY is not since I am the one who freaking wrote the shit in 2000 (he just registered his domain in Sept 2001!).

Basically, the asshole stole about half of the text verbatim from my main page and about 90% of the text verbatim from my tour pages (he also stole my colors, my background images, etc)! What the fuck should I do about this? It is fucking burning me up.

The asshole ALSO claims to be "protected" by Lawrence G. Walters, Weston, Garrou & DeWitt, http://www.freespeechlaw.com. Would it do me any good to give them a call?

I don't want to give the URLs on a public board, but if you want an example of the stealing, just email me at [email protected] and I'll show you.

Does anyone have any advice for me as to what I can do to get this fucker? I haven't emailed the asshole yet because I am still fuming and need to cool off first.
