This is our first post on GFY as a company and we do apologise for it being one of a moaning nature. We are one of the leading content producers in the UK and have picked up awards across Europe (BAFIA, Hot D'or etc) for our content. As Relish we only launched 2 years ago and have already done very well with our website which is managed by Adult Label. We would like to thank everyone at Adult Label ( www.adultlabel.com ) for building the site www.relishxxx.tv for us and making us seriously rich without any affiliates! Good going.

The main reason we are having a moan is that we spotted someone today using our content on a tgp post. We issued cease and desists against everyone. However PimpRoll have not got back to us to tell us that the affiliates account was closed or anything along those lines.

The great part was though the gallery was hosted with a usual gallery URL like www.porndomain.com/tgp/abababa1.html when you went to www.porndomain.com a earlier today it just diverted to the PimpRoll site the page was promoting but without an affiliate code. Now it has an affiliate code on.

Our scenes cost over $8k to shoot as we are high production. We cant afford to have our content violated by other people, although I bet people that shoot scenes for $100 would not like it.

PimpRoll have failed to answer our emails or phone calls. All we are asking for is support. We dont want to stop at a cease and desist we want to take the person to court.

Solidarity is needed in the adult industry, if you stand with us we will be willing to stand be you and fall in the event it happens.

Its understandable that you're upset, but bringing this to the boards the same day you issued the C&D and emailed Pimp Roll is ridiculous. You need to give them time to read the email, investigate the issue, and then contact you.

You can only get to the warning page.

"pimp1000" by default is always put in when there is no ref code present.

Pimp Roll, we dont run an affiliate program so why do we want publicity? We are a multi million pound per month (sterling not dollars) turnover company. All we wanted was the affiliate identified and their address sent to us so that we can take them to court.

That is it.

If we wanted to pay $100 per sign up with no shave to affiliates we could as we have geo targetted billing and our content sells. However we dont need affiliates as we have so much offline hype.

I love it how you spend more time on the boards than on answering your email or ICQ.

huh. I still think making a thread about an issue like this on the same day they contacted the parties involved is a bit over the top. I dont understand how some people expect a response on the same business day. No large company can investigate a problem, take action and contact the inquirer within an 8hr business day (all for someone who isnt even an associate, just a third party). Some people are just unreasonable and should be flamed to shit for making threads like this, even with just cause. IMO.

I personally know relish xxx and can vouch for him and his company and he is a very stand up guy and a straight shooter. I think what he wants is just for this matter to be resolved quickly and satisfactory. You guys should contact each other and sort out this matter, than have a beer over it when you see each other.

Get used to it, more and more people will steal your hard work and there is almost fuck all you can do about it but bitch and moan and send C&D's out every other day.

Most of the people doing this don't have 5 cents to their names and hide like Rats when the heat comes down.
The only thing you would be wasting is your time and money and of course your own grief.

Im not saying I advocate this kind of behaviour but I myself have been in this predicament and have come to realise that the thieves are usually hopeless and broke to begin with and so hard to find that it would be a wste of time, money and resources that could be put somehwere else that wold be more profitable.
Another thing, these assholed rarely get prosecuted.
Just be happy you get the content taken down and removed.

Obviously publicity on a webmaster board is going to help you, who do you think buys your content? the members of boards like this one. If your intention was to really get to the bottom of this and not turn it into a flame war, you should have dealt with it behind closed doors and allowed PR a decent grace period to respond to your emails.

For a company who is just trying to get things solved...you sure did a hell of a lot of self-promoting prior to actually getting down to what you have to say.

Secondly, the subject of your post is not only nasty, but gives people the impression that Pimproll was somehow responsible.

So...let me give you just a wee bit advice since you are so filthy rich you don't need an affilliate program. It goes like this....don't attack a sponsor when it is a webmaster that *stole* (not positive they did, I don't have proof either way) your content. Every good/large sponsor has hundreds or thousands of webmasters and you certainly can't expect them to know what content every webmaster is using and if they have the legal right to use it.

Patience is not your virtue, as with all companies, and all legal matters things have to be investigated. Also, like all sponsors they get a shit load of email each and every day and there is no bell that dings telling them that King Shit wants an immediate answer.

Now, I don't know you from adam, and frankly I don't want to...but I think you are mighty cocky coming on here and stirring up shit like this and making accusations.

Then, after your rampage you make a little tiny remark saying "we came to an offline agreement" and here is some free porn. Oh GEE...free porn!!! Now that is a bonus if I ever saw one....we rarely see porn being adult webmasters...
