OH SHOOT!! I UNINSTALLED WINSOCK... damn

How do I install winsock 2 or something like that BACK? I can't connect to the net from that computer anymore I'm on my laptop now. SHIT

Try system restore. Not sure if it will bring back delete files, but it's worth a shot.

Yep, that would be the better option. Try IE re-install if that doesn't work.

Even more trouble Now svchost.exe takes 99% cpu because it couldn't find the freaking file AVG AntiVirus deleted. LOL. Ok, system restore...

System Restore is your friend... it even saves dragging out CDs

dont forget system restore is one of the first places viruses hit and infect shit, so you might be rolling back into a worse trojaned PC than you have now
