Anyone movie knowledge? (divx)
Right now i capture my movies from digital tape with firewire to uncompressed avi's and then then i use the mpeg2 codec to make .asf movies. Result 30 secs in 3.5 mb and decent quality.
But lately i saw alot of movies captured with the divx codec and the file sizes are smaller and way better quality, full screen. Can anybody tell me exactly what i need to do that. What codec (the normal divx aka mpeg4 codec)? What program? Im using media cleaner pro now. Anything else??? Thanks alot. Oh and would it be a good thing to use movies compressed with divx on paysites? I want to have as less problems as possible with them, all my users should be able to play the movies. Can Mac users play those vids? AOL? Webtv? Ofcourse i would provide a link to a divx codec download page. |
