Anyone have any numbers on unpaid hosting bills, ad spots, content sales, unpaid affiliates etc.

Is this industry large enough for a collections firm to make an introduction?

There is always going to be a percentage of people who breach contracts and don't pay. When you get a credit card, you abide by a legally binding contract, when you take out a loan, take out a mortgage etc... there are always those who will bail out

If I remember correctly 123bill serves more of a business to consumer market. My idea was strictly b2b, at least at the begining. People who bailed out on hosting bills, ad spots, sponsors who fail to pay without cause and several other things I can't think of off the top of my head right now.

Well the point is with a contract its an easy lawsuit. Fuck waiting for a collection agency to maybe collect on it, and take their nice big chunk.

But it would be worth asking them if it can be used for b2b as well. If their answer is yes, it looks like you'd have much everything that you need

Anything collected will be "found money" for the clients... by the time account reaches collections it's a write off for the company. Any monies recovered will be counted as profit for the client.

I love this idea. Detoxed, lots of us have some small collections and do not have a relationship with a collection agency. And I do not want to build one to get my $200 from "cum slurpings sluts .com LLC".

Do mainstream too as there are lots more companies that fold or don't pay in mainstream then adult.

Well unless they like getting a phonecall everyday at 8:00 am they better pay up

certain things at the top of my head for proof... for hosting bills, the whois on the domain name hosted should be proof enough. Same with ad spots, whois on the domain being advertised etc. There are definetly ways to obtain evidence of a purchase with some tracing, but most companies don't have the time or resources to do so. Like I said before it's found money for the clients that otherwise would have wrote it off.

You can do the adult collections, its a matter of having certain things in place. Detailing them all would be seriously long ass post...
