				 | Prob too young, but I would say game cube.  Although PS2 has something called EyeToy that my daughter loved at that age.

				 | Gamecube hands down. I own all systems, The mario Series is great for kids and they have more kid friendly games than any console. And When he gets older he;ll be able to play Metroid Prime. The greatest game ever.
