Prob too young, but I would say game cube. Although PS2 has something called EyeToy that my daughter loved at that age.

can't go wrong with MarioBros.

I'd go PS2 ... it has tons of kids games and you can get the PS1 games dirt cheap ...and the kids love them ...plus you have the bonus of buying the cool PS2 games for yourself ..:2 cents:

The mario Series is great for kids and they have more kid friendly games than any console.


And When he gets older he;ll be able to play Metroid Prime. The greatest game ever.

id say gamecube......at that age you should use some kinda educational games.......

gamecube is oriented for younger children, their games are great for kids, my nephew got one when he was 4 and loved it.

Gamecube all the way
