Anyone know how to do this?
I've got about 200 folders of content and I want to batch compress each folder into it's own individual zip file (i.e. make 200 individual zip files containing the contents of each folder). Does anyone know of a program that can do this? I've searched and experimented but haven't come up with anything that will work...

you can use this program for things like that:
http://www.iolo.com/mm/index.cfm jsut have to do it once, let it record your mouse and key stokes, then tell it how many times to run. dead easy ![]() |

Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm) can do such stuff. Mark all folders you want to compress, use the Files -> Pack command (ALT+F5) and be sure to have the "Create separate archives" option checked.

server side i've seen it done but don't know how on a pc the only way i know is with a zip utility like winzip but would require opening each folder, selecting the contents, then right clicking and selecting "add to folder's name zip". |
