Highest offer on adultvidz.com is $150, looking for a bit more there. Other good offers on other names being considered. Get ahold me if you are interested on any of these.

Freakster, there is not point trying to defend your prices with the usual 99% of clueless board whores who frequent almost all threads on this board...
For the 1% who actually know how to develop business and have a little imagination, you will probably receive email offers rather than public replies. I am sure you have found this out already. I get the same response whenever I attempt to offload some domains on this board. Best to put them on ignore :-) Good luck with your sales. Terry New owner of free-sex.com P.S - I've bought the domains for $15k and I've already been offered $20k..... but i am not selling :-) |

some of those domains are really nice, but the prices aren't realistic. Good luck with selling them

Free-Sex was pretty good, I suppose. But everything else? Garbage. I'm allowed to state this because for one, this is a public forum. For two, most importantly, I make my living from domains so I know what the fuck im talking about. In fact, Terry, I believe you emailed me in regard to several names before. Thus, the lesson - Don't be so safe to assume whose who. Even those within the domain industry are allowed to post negative remarks. Go figure |

AVM, you would be in the 1% I was referring too...
And you are correct. Every single person is entitled to post their opinion. That is what I am doing :-) Cheers Terry |

Realed, you also seem to like overpriced domains having read your previous domain threads. Explain to me, why is a domain like coed69.com for example worth 750 bucks and coeds69.com 9 bucks at godaddy.
Why is it that if people like you reg a domain for 9 bucks its suddenly worth 1k or more? Are you people magicians? When you touch it its suddenly worth a lot of money? Who makes up these prices? You and this guy have some good domains every now and then i have no problems admitting that but 80% of what you 2 are selling is pure crap and similar or better names can be bought any time of the day for less than 10 bucks. Is this just a game? Where you just pretend its worth a lot of money hoping some idiot (and there obviously are plenty) will believe you? Im not talking about domains like free-sex.com, im talking about coed69.com like domains. Instead of replying with the usual "you are clueless" why dont you explain the domain market to a domain nobody like me. Im really curious. |

Battuss, why do I need to waste my time trying to justify to you the worth of certain domain names. If you do not see it then it doesn't really matter what I say does it?
Why do you feel compelled to jump into a thread on a subject it would appear you know nothing about? I am not here to educate you. If you don't get it then admit it and move on. I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I am willing to speculate to accumulate. Some people do pick up domains for $6 and sell them for $xx,xxx It depends on many factors. Here's a little tid-bit of information that may explain how this market works. Right now gambling domains are all hot property because google.com stopped allowing gambling advertisements. Thus, you can only really direct traffic to online casino-type affiliate sites by domain type-ins and other gambling-related domain sites. So, since the google change, a domain with say "poker" in the title that gets a few type-ins might double or treble in value because they are all in high demand right now. This is just a crude example of course but ultimately it illustrates how one might come to a valuation on a particular domain name. Just because somebody pays $6 for a domain does not mean it's only worth $6! i have sold close to 100 domains on GFY at varying prices over the past 2 years. I have also bought about 20 from GFY threads. Some domains I have made 10x my outlay. Others I have lost a little. It's a risky business. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes your don't ..... If you need to ask why a domain is worth or valued at a certain price then just accept that you're missing the point or alternatively try and get in the game and see how you can play it? Terry |
