Nothing on the news wires...I just checked. If it is true they aren't reporting it.
Having a journalist for a hubby is good sometimes cause I get to play with the news wire ![]() I hope it isn't right. |

Wait! We just got a story about this story. It isn't true. Fox News (and CNN for that matter) shouldn't report 'sketchy' items. Never bring a story to air without confirming it.
God, you learn that in day one of journalism school. Scare the crap out of your audience so they keep watching. |

CNN and FOX should be considered 'entertainement news' and not 'news'... they're just trying too hard toget a scoop and would put anything on air...

This is the story we just got.
Japan warned about possible U.S. base attack TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Transport Ministry has been told of a possible attack by a small chartered plane on the U.S. Yokota air base near Tokyo, a ministry official said, but the U.S. embassy denied any knowledge of any planned attack. The ministry official told Reuters he had received the information from a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration official at the U.S. embassy, who had said he had been informed by Japanese police. It was not clear when the attack would have taken place. An embassy spokesman denied the embassy was the source of any such information about a potential attack. "It did not come from us. We have no indication that there is any such plane. It is not true," an embassy spokeswoman said. The U.S. military could not be reached for comment. The Transport ministry official said the ministry had notified airports around Japan about the information, although it had not alerted Japan's airforce. Don't worry tenletters..you were just reporting what the 'news' was saying. I have to say CNN is king of speculation and the other networks are following it. Journalists should never utter the words 'unconfirmed reports'..get conformation. |

I agree 100% about CNN. They are the reason I was only watching FOX. Shit, now I'm just gonna hide under my bed.

Thats it! Last time I parade around in a towel! Guess I'll have to lop off the hair since a towel is mandatory after a shower to keep the floors dry.
