Something in my mouse just exploded...

Well popped I guess. I have a logitech cordless, was just using it, and
POP
hahahah - scared the hell out of me, and then bubbling noises followed. I thought it was a battery? But just checked them both and are fine.
The mouse is still working as of now. This ever happen to anyone?
What could it be, a transistor?

a capacitor exploded. Your batteries will die faster now. Call logitech for a replacement mouse.
